With the winter looming, it might mean more days indoor but fear not. You will still be able to enjoy some form of cycling if only on the screen!

It is seriously one of the most well edited and shot cycling movies to date, with more than excellent performances from the actors.
Paul Smith has created a short film featuring the Rapha Condor Sharp cycling team training at the Manchester Velodrome – but with a slight twist. The team members have replaced their usual training kit has with the Paul Smith London line classic suits.

The Copenhagen Wheel which won the U.S. round of James Dyson Awards is a hybrid-electric wheel you can use on almost any bike. The wheel developed by a student team out of MIT’s SENSEable City lab, has sensors in the wheel that detect torque, allowing the wheel to know when to supplement your pedaling. So if you’re going up a hill, it will help spin the wheel for you.
The folks over at Bikerumor have news of a new Garmin Edge, following on from the Garmin Edge 750 the new Edge 800 is smaller and sleeker and features a larger 2.6” display with a simple touchscreen interface.

Rapha + Paul Smith have recently released some new items for their Autumn / Winter 2010 collection which is set to be launched on 1 October 2010.

For those who have missed this gem, it’s defiantly something to watch and check out. The Bicycle Portraits project was initiated by Stan Engelbrecht and Nic Grobler spending as much of their time as possible traveling through South Africa by bicycle to meet and photograph as many fellow cyclists out there as they can find.
